Floral Rescues Everyday Heroes to the Rescue

As customer service in most business segments becomes less personalized, one-on-one attention remains the stock and trade of the floral business. The personal touch that florists deliver is a hot commodity among flower buyers, especially at times that demand grace under fire. The Society of American Florists conducted a survey of Gourmet magazine readers and invited respondents to share personal anecdotes about flowers and florists. And, according to the readers’ accolades, florists often pull off the impossible -- rolling up their sleeves and showing up as everyday heroes.
